Add Sparkle To Your Eyes
Beautiful eyes make you look more beautiful. You should take proper care of your eyes and make them sparkle and look shiny. Your eyes are the most sensitive part of your body and when you go in for eye care treatments, you have to be extra careful.
Diet for healthy eyes:
Diet plays an important role for healthy eyes. A nutritious diet is necessary for beautiful eyes. Vitamins, proteins, fruits, vegetables, dairy products and milk, have to be consumed every day. Eating proper food can reduce eye diseases. Antioxidants like, vitamin E, vitamin C and vitamin A, help to prevent cataracts and other eye diseases. Fruits and vegetables contain antioxidants, especially in the raw form.
Vitamin A is essential for the retina to function properly, and also to prevent night blindness and cataracts. Some sources of vitamin A are egg, beef, liver, cheese, milk, carrot, sweet potatoes, spinach, mango, cantaloupe, oatmeal, tomato, apricot, peach and papaya.
Vitamin C helps to prevent risk of age-related macular degeneration and cataracts. Some sources of vitamin C are oranges, papaya, broccoli, strawberries, sweet potato and green peppers.
Vitamin E also reduces the risk of cataracts. Some sources of vitamin E are nuts, green leafy vegetables and cereals.
Home remedies for eye care:
• Wash your eyes and apply some olive oil around the eyes, gently massaging it, for healthy eyes.
• If you have dark circles under the eyes, apply cucumber juice or a mix of honey and almond oil for 2-3 weeks.
• Avoid spices and hot products.
• Make a paste with five almonds, mix paste in a glass of milk and consume it for 21 days.
• A good cure for eye disease is to mix one spoon of honey, a spoon of triphala powder and sugar candy powder together and take it on empty stomach in the morning and evening. And drink a glass of milk over it. This will help to cure all eye diseases. Continue this treatment for about 2-3 months.
