Another symptom that may indicate that you suffer from constipation problem is hard stools. If your stools are hard then you need to take measures to correct it. Abdominal pain is another major symptom of constipation.
This symptom may occur as a result of another symptom of constipation – straining while bowel movements. Some people may also experience abdominal pain between bowel movements.Some other common constipation symptoms include flatulence, stomach bloating, and failure to pass stools in spite of having a desire to do so. Constipation can be cured with the help of milk laxatives like psyllium husk and diluted lemon juice. You can swallow a spoonful of psyllium husk with water, but make sure that you drink sufficient amount of water.
Drinking lemon juice mixed with 1 spoonful of honey in warm water early in the morning, on empty stomach can also ease your constipation problem. Drinking hot water, hot tea or fluids can help you in reducing or getting rid of constipation.
Eat foods that are high in fiber and drink plenty of clean water and other fluids. This will make your stool bulky and soft, which means passing of stool will be much easier. Eat plenty of fresh fruits such as grapes, apples, oranges, banana, etc.
If you want to cure constipation then you must avoid eating processed foods, junk foods, spicy foods, foods that contain preservatives and food colors, etc.
