Cosmetic Surgeries
Cosmetic surgeries have been in the limelight over the last few years. These are some of the most popular types of cosmetic surgery that people demand.
Cheek implants:
Following the fashion of glamorous celebrities, good bone structure is very attractive to women. For this reason cheekbone implant is becoming increasingly popular. The implant is made from hard rubber or plastic similar to that used in dental retainers with no wire. These implants are placed within your mouth with a help of an incision, reshaping a round face to become more angular; a wide face becoming longer, and a narrow face taking a more oval shape.
There are a few health tips to be followed before the surgery, including avoiding aspirin and vitamin E three to four weeks in advance of the surgery. The healing period takes up to 10 days along with residual sensitivity lasting up to eight weeks. Swelling and bruising may take from 7 to 10 days to settle down with some sensitivity around the area for six to eight weeks.
Chin Implants:
This implant is placed with an incision under the chin or inside the lower lip. However, the latter procedure is believed to carry a greater risk of infection. Some health tips to be considered before surgery include avoiding aspirin and vitamin E for three to four weeks before surgery. The healing period lasts for up to 10 days with residual sensitivity up to eight weeks. However, there are some downsides associated with these surgeries.
Minimal invasive surgery:
Avoiding bigger incisions, as suggested by its name, minimal invasive surgery is done with special instruments through tiny openings. In this way plastic surgeries such as face lifts and eye lifts have become easier with greater affordability and accessibility.
Laser surgery:
Lasers are used to tighten the skin to improve wrinkles, forehead creasing, etc.
Eye lift surgery:
This surgery is one of the most sought after surgeries for both men and women. Eyelid drooping may make you look more tired and older. The protrusion of fat cushioning the eye at the lower eyelid can be reshaped in most cases with no external incisions through the help of a laser. Upper eyelid drooping can also be corrected with the same technique.
