Daily Hair Care
With the constant use of shampoos and conditioners, we are all well versed with how to use them. But there are some specific ways to do it with which we are not well versed. We should know them for taking care of our hair. Here are some natural tips which can help us in taking proper hair care and improve its routine.
Regular toning, cleansing and conditioning routines are necessary for an effective hair care routine. Use of proper hair care products is the most essential aspect of effective care.
The hair and scalp need toning and exercise after each and every cleansing. A gentle massage is enough to tone the scalp and the hair. This massage activates and invigorates the blood circulation of the scalp, which is the utmost requirement of healthy growing hair.
Regular combing and brushing is essential for the hair, as it frees them from dust and the dead cells and thus stimulates the scalp. It also makes the hair tangle free.
The best brush for the hair is one which has round tipped bristles, as it avoids scratching of the scalp and tearing of the hair. Boar and nylon bristled brush is also good. The boar bristles carry oil and so moister the hair while the nylon bristles gently massages the scalp. The best way to brush the hair is to start from the back of the neck till the crown of the head.
Conditioning is the most essential part of hair care. If the hair is extremely dry off moisture or oily, due to severe cleansing or sun or cause of the use of harsh chemicals, then conditioning restores and corrects the imbalance. For longer hair, conditioning is very useful as they often get roughed up as they grow.
Once a week, conditioning is good for dry hair, for normal hair conditioning once in 14 days and for oily hair conditioning once a month. Conditioners should not be used after every hair wash as they are generally a combination of waxes, detergent or some extra ingredients, like herbal extracts and vegetable oils.
