Different Hairstyles For Gray Hair
Although most of us would get accustomed to gray hair as and when we near 40 years of age, those first few strands of gray or silver hair would always leave us a tad bit concerned. And even though some of us would tend to leave them just as they are and accept the natural process of aging, most of us would try to cover up those silvery strands by either plucking, coloring or hiding them with suitable hairstyles.
So if you are one of those individuals who believe that aging is a natural process but still feel that it is too early for you to be sporting gray hairs, here are some hairstyles that would help you to effectively hide those silvery strands without forcing you to color them or pluck them out.
Different Hairstyles For Gray Hair
Accessorizing
Accessorizing your existing hairstyle with items like bobby pins, hair bands, head bands, head claws etc. can effectively hide those single strands of gray hair that seem to appear here and there. If the gray hairs are concentrated in one particular region, you can pull some hair over the area and fasten it in place with some bobby pins.
Gray hairs usually start developing from the roots. You can effectively hide them with head bands as well by pulling your hair back completely.
Curls

Inward curls are great options for camouflaging grey hairs at the roots. Using a curler, roll the hair into curls. Make sure that you roll the curls in such a way that they face inwards and down. In addition to hiding those streaks of gray hair on your head, this hairstyle would also give the impression of thick, lustrous hair.
Plaits
Plaits are another way to hide gray hairs that seem to be more concentrated in a particular area of the head. Partition your hair in such a way that the area with gray hairs is tucked beneath a layer of normal hair.
Extensions
Of course if your hair is too thin for natural hairstyles, you can always use hair extensions to cover gray hairs. Although less known in countries like India, hair extensions are slowly becoming a rage with the younger crowd and can be used to effectively hide areas near the ear lobe, neck or posterior hairline that has gray hairs.

With age, you would most probably need to change your hairstyle to look more youthful. Polished, sleek and straight hairstyles would make you look more aged in addition to making those gray hairs more visible.
Alternatively, you can opt for a messy look that would be both youthful and cover up gray hairs in the process. The wet hairdo look would also look pretty youthful if you have more than just a few strands of gray hair on your head.
