Dry Hair
Dry hair is a cause of great tension for most people. No one wants dry hair! Those having dry hair desperately want to get rid of it. Dry hair is the main cause of split ends. Dry hair become thick at the roots and thin at the ends. The usual reason for hair becoming dry is too much heat.
Avoid the usage of hair dryers and heat-styling equipments. Always cover your hair when going out to prevent exposure to sun or wind. If the scalp is not oily, it’s better not to wash hair daily. Even pollution makes our hair dry and rough. In that case we need to take extra care of our hair. Always use organic shampoos and conditioners and a deep-conditioning treatment should be used at least once a week.
There are some simple home remedies for curing dry hair. A few of them are listed below:
Warm oil massage
It’s the best treatment. Crush four to five almonds and add it to ½ cup coconut oil. Warm this mixture. Now apply this mixture to your hair and scalp. Wrap your hair with a towel and keep it wrapped for 30mins. Wash your hair with shampoo.
Banana nourishing pack
Make a paste of banana and curd by mixing two mashed bananas and ½ cup of beaten curd. Apply the paste thoroughly to the scalp and hair, and make a kind of bun of your hair. Leave this paste on the hair for 15 minutes only. Now shampoo your hair. You will notice the dramatic change in the texture of the hair.
Egg tonic
We all know eggs are rich in proteins and our hair needs proteins the most. In one cup of milk, beat one egg. Add lemon juice squeezed from a lemon. To this shortening add a teaspoon of olive oil. Massage your hair and scalp well with the mixture.(You can use yoghurt in place of milk.) Wrap a moist, warm towel around the head. Leave your hair in this condition for one hour. Rinse your hair well. In the last rinse, use some lime juice added to the rinsing water.
