Effective Shaving For Women
If the presence of unwanted hairs on your legs, neck, arms or even in the hidden parts of your body annoys you, then you have to include shaving in your daily routine.
You may already have tried doing it in the past and never did it again because of the effects of razor burn or even rashes. With a few tips and proper guidance, you can choose to do it again and work effectively this time.
I will be presenting tips to help you successfully get rid of those unwanted and sometimes excessive hair.
Shaving requires the right tools. You have to make sure that your razor has a sharp blade to avoid irritation. A razor having multiple blades is advisable since you can regularly replace the blade. With this, the possibility of irritating your skin will be low.
A shaving cream should be available prior to shaving. With a rich lather, there is a low possibility of having cuts as you shave. Choose a shaving gel or cream that has a rich lather.
Prior to shaving, you have to make sure that your legs are soft. You have to do it by washing and cleaning your skin. You can do this in bath or in the shower. It is advisable to use warm water in this case.
To soak yourself or your legs in the tub will also be a good preparation for shaving. Once you have done this and you have waited for a few minutes, you can apply the shaving cream and after a few minutes, you can start shaving your legs.
Razor burn happens when you shave in the opposite direction of the hair growth of your legs. Always shave according to the direction of hair’s growth. For the bikini line, carefully shave upward. While in the armpits area, you can shave either upwards or downwards.
As you shave, always check on the razor and see the amount of hair collected. Wash it often to have a more effective shaving result.
Finally, it will be more effective to shave at night to remove the dead cells that have built up during the day. As a last step, you should put moisturizer or body oil to keep your skin soft and smooth and enjoy the effect. Execute this routine as a habit after a few days, to have a lasting and maintained smooth skin look.
