Expecting For The Second Time
Expecting a second baby is an equally special experience. But one should not take it very lightly, as the second pregnancy may not be as simple as expected. Many people assume that if their first pregnancy was of a simple nature, then the second one will be as smooth.
This is wrong thinking, as one may have a completely different experience during the second time. Everything may be different from the symptoms to the size of the stomach. Therefore, it is very essential to take your second pregnancy very seriously and it is very essential to keep a few things in mind before going in for the second child.
The first and foremost thing is to take your physical condition into account before planning a second child. Your body should be fit enough and it should be healed from the first delivery completely as well as properly. Your body should be strong for undergoing the physical strain.
The doctors advise to keep at least a gap of one-and-a-half to two years between the first and second child, as the body takes about this much time to heal from the previous pregnancy. Going for a baby before this will be increasing your problems because it is very difficult to handle a toddler and a new born child together. Take some time; at least your first child should be old enough to understand that his sibling is coming and he also needs care.
In most of the cases, second pregnancies are unplanned, so you should be really careful. After six weeks of the first pregnancy your body becomes fertile again; therefore, to avoid unwanted pregnancy, take proper and effective precautions. A second child will mean an increase in the bills; therefore, plan accordingly. Plan for the second child only when you think you are financially strong enough to bear the burden of increasing expenditures.
If you can satisfy the above-mentioned factors, then you can surely manage the second child. So, go ahead and complete your family.
