Eyeshadow Makeup
Blondes, they say, may have more fun, but brunettes know that they are the classic beauties. Whatever your eye color, here are some tips to help you find the perfect shade to work with your lovely brown hair.
Blue eyed beauty
To really get some attention for your blue eyes, first try a bronze colored eye shadow, preferably with a bit of a frosty tone. Try also deep browns like chocolate or medium browns like earth or even taupe. Many pharmacies sell pre-packaged shadow picks – look for one that includes a light blue or pink as an accent to the usual browns. Navy is a popular choice for blue-eyed brunettes, as is an iridescent white (or any silvery/shimmery pastel for that matter). You might also try a hint of shimmering powder in a gold tone applied to the eye.
Brown eyed makeup
You lucky woman, you can wear any color you want with your brown hair and brown eyes. You can easily pull all the classic movie star looks; be they cute and flirty, innocent, seductive or just the natural look. You might not think of it right off the top of your head, but lavender and plum colors will look really impressive on you. Apply lavender to the upper part of your lid and then put the dark plum in the crease. Any of the brown colors are “safe” for brown eyed brunettes to wear. Try mauves, shimmery pastels, even turquoise. Or to get a more neutral and toned down look, try using grays; use metal-colored tones like copper and bronze as your stand-bys.
Makeup for Green eyes
You lovely ladies with green eyes can pull off an amazing look with the use of plum and mauve colors. While brown is part of the shadow palette for all brunettes, girls who have green eyes with gold flecks will POP with gold-colored shadow. Lavender also looks good and makes a nice contrast and will look even better with the use of a dark purple eye liner.
Hazel
You are the epitome of the chameleon here, hazel eyed beauty. You can carry off every color and shade, even navy and turquoise.
