Facial Treatments – Home Facial Treatment Tips
January 28, 2010
Home facial treatments that you can do in the comfort of your home are convenient and economical and give you the same results as those done in the local salon.
A healthy facial skin is what every woman desires. Giving your face the daily pampering it needs can help you remove dead skin and other damaging factors that cause facial skin problems, therefore preserving its youthful look.
Here is a simple facial treatment tip.
Start by preparing 2 chamomile tea bags, washbasin, shower cap, towel and mask. You can easily buy chamomile tea bags at the supermarket – get the ones with herb fragrance. The mask also has to be according to your skin type. Use the clay type mask for oily skin and creamy hydrating mask for dry skin.
When everything is ready, start boiling enough water and place the 2 chamomile tea bags in it. While waiting for the tea to blend with the water, cap your hair with a shower cap and remove all your makeup completely. Get a washbasin and place the water inside. At approximately 12 inches away from the water, hold your face parallel to the steam for about 10 minutes. Trap the steam by draping a towel over your head.
Dry your face and apply the mask. Leave it for the specified time. Follow the instructions of the mask accordingly. Rinse off with cool water. Make sure you apply a moisturizer.
For daily facial care, use the following tips:
Wash your face.
Do this properly by using the perfect soap suited to your skin. Exfoliate too. Use a rough face cloth and scrub your face lightly.
Tone your face.
Toners can be mild and organic, and alcohol-based astringent. Freshen up your face after washing to fully remove impurities. Replace your toner if it causes a painful sensation.
Moisturize all the way.
Your face needs to be moisturized after washing and toning, also before putting on your makeup. Use emollient ointment at night time, especially if you are exposed to dry climate.
Follow these three tips at least twice a day – once in the morning and at night time to remove makeup, dust and grime completely to avoid deep-seated impurities that can cause blemishes and other skin damage.
