Find Your Strength

Some guys got it and some guys don’t. We all know that it just sucks to be one of the guys that don’t have it. Before you even start any type of work out regimen or diet, you have to learn to accept you for you. If we were all the same the world would be a boring place. Sounds cheesy doesn’t it?

Unfortunately, the fact is that everyone is different. We all grow different, tall, short, fat, skinny it really doesn’t matter. Men have both slow twitch and fast twitch muscles and are all really kind of similar for all men.

Depending on how your slow and fast twitch muscles work in combination will determine on whether or not you turn into the hulk when working out or you stay the average Joe. Slow or fast, which will it be?

Yes, your age has a lot to do with your daily workout. The older you get, the longer it takes to gain strength and muscle mass. Your prime age is between 10 and 20 years of age. So, even though you may need to work a little harder than say your younger brother, you can still keep up.

Other things that can affect your size and stamina are limb and muscle length, point of tendon, (where the muscle fiber is attached to the bone), and your workout training routine.

These things may sound relatively ridiculous but, if the guy next to you has muscle fiber that is farther apart than yours, he will have the advantage. You also have to remember that variation is the key.

When designing your daily workout, be sure to change it. Staying with the same exercises day after day will cause your body to burn out and get stagnant. Variety is the key to having your workout give you the best results.

So remember, even though genetics may seem like they have you by the seat of your pants, there are things that you can do to cheat your family’s bloodline. Keep things fresh and watch your diet. Let nature take care of the rest.
