Growing Long Hair

Every woman wants to grow long healthy hair. However, a misconception is that long hair takes a long time to grow. It’s said that hair grows about 6-inchs per year.
Though there are lots of ways to improve the hair growing cycle, and growing long and healthy hair is possible. By doing these few things it will help in having long healthy hair.
Change Your Diet
Every person eats a variety of food, some eat high-fat and others eat greasy food. A healthy diet can help improve the quality of hair as well as boost hair growth and ultimately make it look more beautiful. Eating a healthy diet that includes lots of vegetables, fresh fruits’ can ideally solves lots of problems. Also, eating lean meat such as chicken, fish and drinking dairy products is essential.
People should avoid foods that are high in sugar/fat and have the right proteins, vitamins, and minerals such as B-6, biotin and folic acid; minerals such as magnesium, sulfur, silica, and zinc in your diet helps to maintain long healthy hair.
Beta-carotene found in green and yellow vegetables and fruits’ is good for hair growth, as it is converted in to vitamin A, which helps maintain normal growth and development of the body, and protects sheathing of nerve fibers, as it promotes healthy skin, hair, and nails.
Eating brewer’s yeast, calves liver, wheat germ, and taking 2 tblsp of granulated lecithin can maximize hair growth, strength, and beauty. Other sources of protein include beans, fish, eggs, and yogurt. Soy protein also helps in hair growth.
Take Care of Hair/Avoiding Things
Taking care of growing hair is as essential as growing long and healthy hair. Using a good shampoo and moisturizing conditioner, as well as a leave-in conditioner is important. Get a weekly massage on the scalp for stimulating the hair follicles as well as hot oil treatments for protecting the hair shafts. Rest and sleep will help the body to grow more hair.
Treat hair as a fine old lace and avoiding unnecessary combing, brushing, and handling; also avoid using a brush when hair is wet. Use hair color despairingly, avoid hot water, and hot styling tools like curling irons, blow dryers, and flat irons; limiting them to once a week, as they can stress the hair. Try and eliminate/cut intake of caffeine, carbonated sodas, and smoking is it weakens hair growth.
Regularly Trim Hair
Regularly trim split hair to make it feel and look healthier, and help the hair grow further and better. It’s ideal to cut hair once in 2/3 months, but be quick if using hot styling tools that damage the hair.
Get Hair Extensions
Attaching clip-in hair extensions is an alternative that allows the hair grow long, and lets the wearer to temporarily wear hair lengths she wants. They don’t need care all the time if the wearer is not interested in wearing them on a daily basis.
