Women can purchase these herbal supplements at the drugstore. Black Cohosh is widely used by women going through menopause because it helps rebalance the hormones. Damiana can also help women by helping their vagina secrete more lubrication. Before a woman begins any treatment plan, she should speak with her doctor first. Even herbal remedies may have slight side effects.
Women going through menopause need to pay attention to their health. It is important that they begin an exercise program that includes some form of cardio exercise for about thirty minutes a day. Menopausal women should also increase the amount of green vegetables that they eat and make sure that they get extra zinc.
