Home Made Face Masks For All Skin Types

The first rule of looking good is to have smooth flawless skin. To have that flawless skin, one needs to take good care of the skin. This does not mean you have to run to the salon or spa frequently.

All you need is a good facial and you can do that at home.

Before giving yourself a facial, you need to know the kind of skin you have and what results you want. If you are not certain about the kind of skin you have (oily, normal, combination etc), just go for the ones that are suitable for all skin types.

Here are a few facial masks that can come in handy.

If your skin is oily and prone to Acne, then use flavour free milk of Magnesia as a cure. Apply it on your face, keep it for 15 minutes and then wash it with cool water.

If you want something natural then you can always go for the Banana facial mask. For this, you will need a ripe Banana, one tablespoon of Honey and some juice of Lemon or Orange. Mix the Banana and Honey together, and make a smooth paste. Add a few drops of either Lemon or Orange Juice. Now apply the paste on your face and then remove it after 15 minutes with either a cold or a steaming warm washcloth.

Combination skin is bit difficult to take care of, but no worries, as I have the perfect recipe for you. Take 6-8 fresh petals of Rose. Soak them and then crush them. Apply two table spoons of Rosewater to that along with one table spoon of Yogurt and Honey. Mix them well. Apply the mixture on your face and rinse with water after 10 minutes.

To make a mask for dry skin, you would need half an Avocado and ¼ cup of Honey. Mash the Avocado and then mix Honey with it. Apply it on your face and keep it for 10 minutes. Then rinse with cool water.

Remember, cleansing is an important part of skin care. You need to use a good cleanser to have healthy skin. Grapes are a great cleanser and they can be used on any type of skin. Take a large Grape or two, cut it in half, take out the seed and then rub the flesh on your face as well as neck. Then rinse with cold water.
