Homemade Shampoo And Conditioner

Your hair and scalp get the right kind of care when you use the right kind of shampoo and conditioner, which is mild and contains essential oils. If your hair products are produced by someone who deals in natural products you will get a shampoo that is mild and made of natural herbs instead of the other shampoos that contain harsh detergents as well as chemicals along with mild soaps and other emulsifiers.

These can even damage the hair due to their bleaching and coloring. Some manufacturers have created shampoos with essential oils that clean as well as protect your hair and your scalp. These are mild enough to be used every day, without harming your hair and drying it out.

Herbal shampoo containing pine and grapefruit

Certain herbal shampoos contain pine and grapefruit while many more shampoos use lavender and rosemary. Lavender helps to soothe the scalp while rosemary and pine help to enrich the scalp. Grapefruit is prescribed as a tonic for the skin and also has a sweet smell. This kind of shampoo can only be used for oily hair.

It contains 10ml of shampoo base, 10 drops of lavender and rosemary as well as 5 drops of pine and grapefruit. The shampoo base should be poured into a glass bowl and the essential oils should be added to it one by one and then stirred using a glass rod. This shampoo should be poured into a glass bottle and kept ready for use at any time.

Herbal shampoo containing Chamomile and Geranium

This shampoo is generally prescribed for dry hair but it can be used for other hair types also. This contains chamomile, sandalwood and geranium, which help rejuvenate the hair and increases the sebum production. It gives life and shine to dull, lifeless and damaged hair.

This shampoo contains 100ml of shampoo base, 10 drops of chamomile and geranium, 5 drops of sandalwood, 3 drops of lemon and 2 drops of lime. The shampoo base should be poured into a glass bowl and the essential oils should be added one by one and stirred using a glass rod. This should be preserved in a glass bottle and kept ready for use.

The ingredients that have been used to create this shampoo give more color, texture and volume to the hair. Herbs are selected for the shampoo after thinking about the needs of every type of hair. The herbs have been mixed and matched in such a manner that they suit all kinds of hair.
