Applying the right hue of eye shadow with the correct technique can add glamour to the the make-up. Eye make-up has become bolder over the last few decades as seen on beauty sitcoms and fashion ramps. In order to achieve a bold and vivacious look with eye shadow here are some tips.

The Butter Fly Look

Make sure you wash and moisturize your face. Even out your skin tone with a base or foundation closest to your skin tone. Special foundations are now available specifically for the Indian skin tone. Highlight your cheek tones with a blush in a rosy hue.Cover under eye circles with a concealer and also get rid of spots and blemishes.

Now apply a shimmery parrot green eye shadow all over your upper eye lid.Intensify the colour and highlight your eye lid corner with a deep bronze eye shadow.

Now high light your eye brow crease with an eye shadow in deep bronze which is a shade lighter than the previous one.Top off the look with a sweep of mascara over the lashes. Keep your lips soft and subtle with a coral or nude lip gloss. Make sure to pump the colour with a second coat.

The Sugar Candy Look

Begin first by cleansing, toning and moisturizing. Apply an even coat of base or moisturizer as suited to your skin. Touch up stubborn parts of the skin with a concealer. With a thick blush brush, apply a generous coat of a deep brown blush over your cheek bones.Get the diva look by applying a bit of body shimmer all over the face.

Next, cover your entire eye lid with a pinkish brown eye shadow. Then apply a thick line of eye liner in pink crystal for that sparkling effect to your eyes. Dab the inner corner with a shimmery bronze.Define your eye lashes with a thick coat of mascara. Highlight your eye- brow line with an eye shadow containing a silvery hue.

Apply a coat of light brown moisture enriched lipstick to give your entire look a soft glow. Make a style statement by painting your nails silver. Ensure that you put another coat for a dramatic effect.

Begin with a skin-suitable foundation in order to create a base for the rest of your make-up. Seal in the foundation with compact. You can skip the blush on and simply dab on some gold shimmer bronzer all over your face for a stunning glow.

Apply a brown eye shadow as a base all over your upper eye lid. Sprinkle a deep gold eye shadow all over your upper eye lid and seal it in. Highlight your eyes with a golden eye liner on your lower lids.

On your lips apply a golden bronze shade of lipstick and give it the added chutzpah by putting in a dash of sparkling nude lip gloss.Offset your entire make-up by applying a shade of bold red on your nails for the ultra-glam look.
