How To Apply Eye Make Up

Some say, Eyes are the gateway to the soul and it is perfectly true. In fact, they speak of inner beauty. The beauty of these beautiful eyes can be further enhanced by properly applying eye makeup. 

Those who can afford can take the help of a beautician for eye make up. But it is possible to make eye make up without the help of a beautician. All that is required is some practice and patience.  Patience always pays.

Here are some tips for the eye makeup:

1. Eye shadow: Choose a color that would last long. Any color can be applied, but if you are using two colors, apply lighter shade above the first color. While applying lighter shade, apply it in one go and do not overdo the coloring.

2. Eyeliner: Applying eyeliner is a very important step in eye makeup. Liner can be applied by pencil or in liquid form. Apply the liner from the inner corner of the eye. It should be in the form of thin line close to the eye lids. By practice it is possible to make the liner as thin as possible.

3. Mascara: Make up of eye is incomplete without Mascara or the foundation. But before applying the Mascara, use a proper eye lash curler.  Now start applying Mascara. The Mascara tube has a wand. Before applying, turn the wand well so that the liquid inside will mix well. If this is not done, then it may look clumpy on the face.

Mascara can be applied in two coats, depending on the need. But before applying the second coat, ensure that the first coat has completely dried. The best method of applying the foundation on the eyelid is to just move the brush gently. That would give the eyes a sexy and inviting look. Now comb the eye lashes so as to remove clumps which might have formed on them.

Although eye makeup is easy, it requires practice. This is particularly helpful for working women who cannot run to a beautician every day or for every occasion or party they would attend. By applying the eye makeup yourself, you can save money as well.
