How To Apply Eye Makeup Step By Step

Eye Makeup done in right manner can alter your personality all together. Let us check out few easy steps for eye makeup to make your eyes look beautiful. Kohl is not the only eye makeup accessory, kohl along with eye shadow and mascara makes our eyes look attractive and gorgeous too.

Step 1: Primer

Using Primer or Base colour for eye makeup helps it to stay for longer time on our eyes. Various blue and red nerves on our eyes also get concealed with the help of primer.

Opaque Primer is supposed to be the best for eye makeup. There are 2-3 shades available for eye makeup, but you should always buy the one matching your skin tone.

Without using the brush apply the primer using your middle finger between the eyelashes and the eyelid covering the whole eyelid. Now your eyes are ready for soft eye makeup.

Step2: Eye Shadow

For an attractive eye makeup all you need is two colours of eye shadow. Women who are fond of applying neutral tones of eye makeup can apply cream shade of eye shadow on the eyelids.

The eye shadow should be applied from the inner eye lid till the middle of the eye lids. Powder Eye shadow is best for summers and cream eye shadow is good for application in winters.

Now apply pale base colour from the eyelids till the base of the eyebrows or from lash line to the brow bone. Warm tone colours like champagne and mute peach are good for highlighting the shape of the eyes.

Dark Define colours are excellent for giving the smoky effect to the eyes. Always go for two shades darker shade of eye shadow than the base colour, like bronze and chocolate or gold and brown forever is a nice combination.

Step 3: Eye Liner

There are various types of eyeliners available in the market for highlighting the shape of eyes like liquid, cream , gel and pencil eye liners. Along with highlighting the shape of the eyes eyeliner fills the gap between eyelashes.

For a Retro look you can go for Liquid or gel Eye Liners. You can also use Creamy Kohl Pencil for soft eye makeup and it can be easily blended too. It is applied on both the inner and the outer outline of the eye lashes.

For morning eye makeup you can use black and brown colour. Start applying the Kohl pencil from the outer side of the eyelashes and then move inwards along the outline of the eye lashes. You can stretch your eye lashes with one finger to make the outline smooth.

Eye liner can be applied both on the upper as well as the lower eyelid but in order to carry a neat look till the evening it is suggested that you apply the liner just on the upper eyelid to avoid smudging. During the nights you can apply the liner on the lower li9d too to give an attractive look to your eyes.

Step 4: Mascara

Mascara helps the eyelashes to look longer and thicker. Avoid applying mascara on the lower eyelashes. Use black-brown shade of the mascara for soft eye makeup.

Women with white skin can use brown mascara during the daytime for fresh and natural look and use standard curved brush for applying mascara on the eye lashes. After applying the first coat wait and let it dry and then apply the second coat of mascara.
