A fairy princess look on your wedding day is a dream for every young girl. To make this dream come true, you have to be very careful in choosing the correct dress.
It’s a very tricky as well as difficult part to choose a wedding dresses. So start quite before the wedding date so that you don’t get goose bumps or jitter yourself as the big day approaches. Place your order at a reputed boutique anywhere between four to six months.
Always choose a boutique where you have had some experience before. Plus, keep some spare time also so that you can make alterations or some additions to the dress if required. It is always a good idea to start working on the dress eight or nine months prior to the wedding date.
You have the perfect dress in your mind, but sometimes it so happens that you are not able to communicate the preference. A particular cut, embroidery, color, etc, can not be brought to the tongue exactly as it is in the mind. So it is always recommended to keep a sample which is the source of your preference.
Choose a dress according to the kind of occasion. For an elegant formal gathering, a floor kissing dress with gloves and a veil will do best. Champagne, cream and white are the perfect colors for this type of dress. Likewise, soft pastel colors will do best for a semi formal occasion. A dress, shorter in length, with a smaller veil and no groves will be perfect for such an occasion.
Besides looking good, the bride should also be comfortable in what she is wearing. Therefore, choose a dress where you can feel comfortable as well as look your best. Sticking to a particular style which doesn’t suit you will be foolish. Take someone along with you who can give you an experienced and honest opinion. Order a dress that can flatter your body, be it a ball gown or an empire waist.
Fix a budget for the dress before you go in to choose. Try to buy something within your means. Keep along some budget for some alterations as well. Talk in detail with the dress maker and list down the accessories that he has promised to provide as well. This way you will be able to avoid tension at the last moment.
