How To Detect Pregnancy Early
Pregnancy is the ultimate dream for all women, which they want to achieve at least once in their life. The achievement of motherhood is a great blessing and brings fulfillment in a woman’s life when she is prepared for it.
But if you are ignorant about this awesome experience that begins with conception and converts a single cell into a small baby, you will worry a lot and won’t be able to enjoy this process, especially when you and your partner are eagerly trying to conceive. So in order to detect pregnancy early, the best thing is to know the possible, probable and positive signs that indicate whether you are pregnant or not.
Three Types Of Early Pregnancy Symptoms
Presumptive Pregnancy Symptoms
These are the symptoms that a woman experiences herself like missed period, breast changes, nausea and vomiting, nipple secretion, fatigue, frequent urination, changes in appetite etc.
Probable Pregnancy Symptoms
These include the physical changes that occur in mother’s body and which can be documented through physical examination, like growth of uterus.
Definitive Pregnancy Symptoms
These are the symptoms that can be detected through monitoring of fetal heart rate and through other pregnancy tests like ultrasound etc. The degree and onset of pregnancy symptoms can vary from woman to woman. Many women experience these symptoms within few days of conception, whereas others take few weeks. There are some lucky women too, who do not experience any discomfort at all. Generally, early pregnancy symptoms can be felt within 8 to 10 days from ovulation and they lessen after the first trimester.
Early Pregnancy Symptoms
Nausea And Vomiting
Many women experience this symptom even within a week after conception. Most women experience them as morning sickness, but some women may experience them in the afternoon and some throughout the day. There is no definite solution to avoid these symptoms. Eating small meals five or six times a day may help.
You can notice changes in your breasts. They may become very tender and swollen. Their size can also enlarge and veins may become visible. The color of nipple also changes and becomes darker and sensitive.
Fatigue Or Lethargy
When you are pregnant, your body goes through some major hormonal changes. You can feel little sluggish due to the high level of HCG in your body. You may even feel dizzy, if you stand in one place for a long period. The growing uterus sometimes compresses the arteries in your legs, which drops the blood pressure. This generally happens when your blood sugar level is low due to skipping meals or not eating at regular intervals. During pregnancy, it is necessary to take care of your diet and eat your food timely.
The uterus starts to swell and enlarge to accommodate the growing fetus and its pressure on bladder causes frequent urination. This symptom occurs within a week in some women. Some women suffer from constipation also. Heartburn and irritability can also be experience along with other symptoms.
If it is hard for you to wait for few weeks to know whether you are pregnant or not, there is good news for you. With the advancement of medical science and technology, it is now possible to detect pregnancy, sitting at your home even before you have missed your period. It can be detected both by blood and urine test with great accuracy.
