How To Get Rid Of Body Odor
Your body odor can be uncomfortable, not just for you, but for others that have to be around you as well. Once you have it all you can think about is how you are going to get rid of it.
Most people know that body odor stinks, but that is usually the extent of their knowledge. Body odor is acutely caused by microscopic bacteria on your body. The bacteria are always present on your body but as you sweating they grow and you start to smell.
Bath Regularly
The first step to eliminating body odor is to take a shower every single day. On days that you sweat profusely you might want to consider showering twice a day. Make sure that you use an anti-bacterial soap and scrub your entire body. After washing you should use a body scrub and exfoliate your body. The exfoliation process will remove more bacteria than simply washing.
Use Talcum Powder
When you get out of the shower you should sprinkle talcum powder all over your body. In addition to drying you faster and making it easier to slip into your clothing, the talcum powder will also absorb your sweat which will limit the growth of bacteria and keep your body odor from putting in an encore appearance.
Change Your Diet
It seems a little silly, but your diet can be one of the contributing factors to your body odor problem. People who eat large quantities of red meat seem to have a harder time controlling their body odor. Replace the meat in your diet with chicken and fish. Make sure you eat several servings of fruits and vegetables and drink lots of water. Caffeinated drinks, like soft drinks and coffee, can cause body odor.
Think About your attire
Since you are more likely to sweat during the hot summer months you should try to wear as many natural fibers as possible. T-shirts and shorts that are made out of 100% cotton are excellent choice. You should were loose fitting clothes. In addition to making it easier to move around, the loose fitting clothes allow for more air circulation which will decrease the amount you sweat.
