How To Get Rid Of Dandruff Quickly And Effectively
Dandruff indeed is the worst hair problem of all. Just imagine, you are all set for a great dinner, you are wearing black and there are tons of white flakes on your shoulder. That just ruins it, doesn’t it?
When it comes to dandruff remedies, the first thing that comes to mind is the wide range of anti-dandruff shampoos. All the products will promise you a miracle. I am not being sceptical; some of them are really good. But studies have shown that some of the products had severe reactions. In fact some of the shampoos have led to severe skin problem.
The main cause of dandruff is an unclean scalp. Make sure you bathe everyday and keep your hair and scalp clean. Wash the pillow covers, towel, and your comb twice a week.
Now when you are buying an anti-dandruff shampoo, you have to be extra careful. You can consult a skin specialist for the purpose. But if you have found something that suits your hair and does not have any side effect, then keep using that.
And in this case I would suggest going for a good brand. The rule of thumb is to apply shampoo on the scalp and leave it for a while. Give the scalp some time to absorb it, and then wash it off. And make sure you wash off the shampoo well.
If you are sceptical about the chemicals and wish to go for an all natural product, then I know just the thing for you. You can prepare some remedies for your hair problem at home. They are effective and easy to make.
Make a paste from seeds of sesame and apply it on the scalp. Leave it for half an hour and then wash it off. I understand that making a paste and applying it on the scalp can be a bit of a hustle for some people. Mix one tea spoon of lemon juice with some water and use that to wash your hair. Do that at least thrice a week. This is easy and effective.
Last but not the least, in order to avoid dandruff; you must have a balanced diet. Add more fresh fruits in your food lists. That will keep the scalp healthy.
