How To Give A Natural Look To Make Up

It is true that make up enhances the look of the face by highlighting the positive things and hiding the flaws of the skin. But it is essential that it should be done properly to achieve this effect.

The first and foremost thing in this regard is to go for a good quality foundation, which suits your skin tone. The whole look of the makeup is spoiled if you do not give your make up a right base.

Make sure to use a very small amount of it for the desired natural look. Use a damp sponge to apply. Then, apply the concealer on the affected areas like dark circles, blemishes and marks. It is very important to blend it really well for the natural finish.

Then set the foundation and concealer with setting powder. Dust a very little quantity of the powder on the face and then spread it with a large and fluffy brush.

The next thing is to apply the eye makeup. Make sure to use natural looking earth shades.  Apply light colored eye shadow to whole of the eye lid. Then go in for a light colored eye shadow from the lashes to the brow and then apply a dark shade and finish applying the eye shadow with the darkest shade of eye shadow. Take a fluffy brush and blend the colors carefully.

If you prefer to apply a liner then go for a black or brown color as they give a natural look to the eyes. Define the eyes with a very thin line. The next thing to do is to apply the mascara to curl the lashes. Here also go for a natural shade of black. You can apply two coats but make sure that you apply the second one after the first has dried.

Then, apply the blush of a pinkish or peach shade. Tap off the extra blush to avoid an artificial look. Make sure to blend it well for that smooth and even finish. Last step is to apply a natural shade of lip stick or you can also give your lips a nude look.

Here you are ready with makeup that looks very natural.
