How To Lighten The Age Spots
Time and tide wait for none. And the passage of time leaves its marks on us, especially on our skin. Two of the main problems of aging skin are the wrinkles and the age spots. They make the skin look rather unattractive.
But a stitch in time saves nine. This means if you take good care of the skin from an early age or as soon as you start having the problems then you can retain the former glow.
Age spots start to occur after the age of 40. Basically, they are brown and yellow marks on the skin. This occurs because the skin is exposed to the sun too often. In other words, it can be referred to as a form of sun damage.
Wearing a good sun block or sunscreen is a must to prevent this kind of skin problem. But other than that, there are some home remedies to remove age spots. They are easy and since they are all organic so there is zero chance of side effects.
Take the juice of fresh garlic and apply it on the spots with the help of cotton. Do this twice a day. Keep using it till the age spots fade away.
Both Aloe Vera gel and juice have been used for skin care for a long time. You can use either the gel or the juice of Aloe Vera for the age spots. Apply them on the affected area two times a day. You will get your desired result within a month.
The next remedy is only for the ones who have dry skin. Apply castor oil on the spots everyday and the spots will fade away after sometime. Use it before going to bed and in the morning wash it off. It is better not to wear it when you go out.
Onion is not just a good spice; it is great on the skin as well. Take a red onion and cut it in half. Rub it on the affected area of the skin. Do this regularly till the spot goes away.
Last but not least, drink a good amount of water daily. This helps to prevent the appearance of age spots.
