Makeup Remover From Milk

You will be quite surprised to know that a product of daily use like milk can be used as a makeup remover.  To make the makeup remover, you will have to combine 1 tablespoon of cold milk with 5 drops of lemon juice and a pinch of turmeric. Stir the ingredients thoroughly so as to make a homogeneous solution.

Dip a clean ball of cotton in this solution and then dab it all over your face. After 3 minutes, rinse your face with cold water and pat dry with a clean towel. You will find that your entire facial makeup has been effectively cleansed off by this natural makeup remover.

Beeswax and Almond Oil Makeup Remover

Another makeup remover, which can be used on the face and neck, can be made from beeswax and almond oil. For this purpose, you will have to add half a cup of almond oil to 2 tablespoons of melted beeswax. To this add 1 teaspoon of ground camphor and 1 tablespoon of glycerin and stir thoroughly.

The makeup remover thus prepared can be stored in an airtight glass container for further use. This remover is to be applied on the face and neck and is to be cleaned off by wiping with a clean cotton ball.

Witch Hazel Makeup Remover

To prepare a makeup remover that has skin nourishing properties, you can make use of witch hazel. To make this remover, you should mix together equal quantities of witch hazel and olive oil.

If you are running short of olive oil, then you can also use jojoba oil for the purpose. Along with making your face completely makeup free, this remover will also help in moisturizing the skin and removing pore build-ups.

Homemade Eye Makeup Remover

Since our eyes are extremely sensitive, extra care has to be taken while preparing a makeup remover for the eyes. Baby products, which contains mild acting ingredients, are the best suited for making eye makeup removers.

Since these baby products do not contain any harsh acting chemicals, they can be used without the fear of contracting any eye irritations. To prepare the makeup remover, you will have to mix together 3 tablespoons of baby shampoo, a quarter teaspoon of baby oil and 2 cups of water.

Pour the ingredients in a plastic bottle, close the lid tightly and shake vigorously.  This makeup remover can be then applied to the eyes using a clean cotton ball.

Be sure to shake the bottle containing the makeup remover , every time before you use it. Thus, by following the above said methods, you can enjoy the benefits of your very own homemade makeup remover.
