How To Reduce Wrinkles And Fine Lines
Wrinkles are a very common sign of advancing age in a person. They are the result of diminishing elastin which causes the skin to lose its natural suppleness. As a person grows older, many things like fat under the skin, lack of essential vitamins and loss of collagen protein, contribute to sagging of skin.
Fine lines are the first stage of developing wrinkles. The most affected areas of our body are the face, neck and arms. This is because wrinkles usually occur in areas where the muscles are used repeatedly, e.g. around the lips and eyes, the back of the hands and wrists etc.
In these modern times, wrinkles are not just an indication of age but also of the harmful effects of pollution, unchecked use of cosmetics, an unbalanced diet and a sedentary lifestyle. Drug abuse and smoking also hasten the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines.
Even though wrinkles cannot be eradicated completely (without advanced chemical therapies), there are some steps that you can take yourself to help delay their onset.

Wrinkles can also be caused by the harmful UV rays of the sun. Ensure that you always use a good quality sun screen with a minimum SPF 15 to protect yourself from the effects of sun exposure.
