How to Remedy Irregular Menstrual Cycle

While women with regular menstrual cycle get less and less excited with their monthly period, others with their irregular monthly periods feel envious.

What causes irregular menstruation?

Basically, menstruation is a result of hormonal functions in the body and every woman has different reactions, thus the probability of irregular period can be expected if one has an unhealthy lifestyle.

The lifestyle of a woman could contribute to this irregularity. Majority of working women with busy schedules neglect important points in life that can lead to menstrual cycle irregularity. The leading cause why women go off this cycle is insufficient supply of water to the body.

The basic 8 to 10 glasses of water daily requirement is being neglected as women cope with their daily obligations. Instead of drinking natural water, women tend to grab the first beverage that contains artificial additives they see on the rack and rush off to continue their work.

In addition, as they rarely have time to cook natural organic food, the tendency to eat processed foods is becoming the norm. Regular eating of unhealthy food can cause several abnormalities in our body, including irregular menstrual cycle.

How do you regulate irregular menstrual cycle?

Unless the reason of your irregular menstruation visits is internal disease like polycystic for example, the remedy really is to correct improper supply of nourishment to the body. Sounds easy? It is, but it may require great discipline and persistence.

Simply correct your lifestyle. Start by implementing proper fluid intake and make adjustments to your daily food intake. Instead of heading to the artificial beverages rack, go pick a huge bottle of water and take the time to consume it.

Instead of rushing off to fast food center or prepare canned goods, find a restaurant that offers great tasting nutritious food if you cannot manage cooking on your own. I’m pretty sure you will not have difficulty finding one in your area. Most restaurants nowadays try to cater to the health conscious population.

Find an exercise regimen that is manageable. Doing physical fitness activity regularly could really help in regulating irregular menstruation.

In addition, there is one trick that has been going around for long and that is to sleep in the dark. It has been said that sleeping with the lights on can affect menstrual cycle. If you find it irrelevant, try it for yourself.
