How To Remove Eye Makeup In 5 Minutes
Women love eye makeup and most of us spend huge amounts of money on scintillating eye makeup like eye shadow and expensive mascaras. Eye makeup can not only bring out the beauty of your eyes but also make you look resplendent. The only glitch with eye makeup is that it is very difficult to remove.
Plain water and soap does not work effectively in removing your eye makeup. On the contrary, it can ruin the delicate skin around your eyes. The best bet is to invest in special eye makeup remover that will rid you of eye makeup in five minutes. Here are some of the steps you need to follow while removing eye makeup.
Tips To Remove Eye Makeup
Using The Eye Makeup Remover
The eye makeup remover is specially formulated to protect the delicate skin of your eyes. Take a soft piece of cotton wool and apply some eye makeup remover on the cotton ball. Now gently remove the eye makeup in soft, circular strokes. Start with your eye lids which is the toughest area. Then move towards your under eye area. Make sure you do not get any eye makeup remover in your eyes, as this will cause your eyes to burn. Repeat this procedure until your eyes are reasonably clean.
Washing The Eyes
The next step in removing eye makeup is to remove all remaining traces of eye makeup remover and eye makeup. Use your regular face wash or a gentle eye cleansing wash to remove dirt, grime and remnants of the makeup. Splash some cool water on your eyes and take a dollop of face wash on the tips of your fingers.

Shut your eyes tightly and gently cleanse your entire eye area until it is clean. Now splash some more water on your face and eyes until you remove all soapy traces of face wash.
Pat dry your eyes with a soft towel or a wash cloth. Do not use harsh strokes as this can irritate the skin under your eyes.
Apply A Toner
Apply a mild facial toner on your face and just under the eye area. Do not apply the toner directly on the eyes. The toner helps to tighten the skin and close the pores.
By now, your eye area will be screaming for some pampering and attention. Eye make up tends to dry out your skin and makes it look parched and dull. The only solution to this is the use of a good under eye cream, which not only moisturizes the area but also prevents puffy, baggy eyes and wrinkled skin. Gently moisturize your entire eye area with the eye cream.
This will complete your eye make up cleaning routine. By now, you will be ready to take a nap. Wear an eye guard or eye patches at night to help you sleep better. These help the eye cream to soak right into your skin and keep them soft. When you wake up the next morning, your eyes will look bright, glowing and beautiful.
