Ginger Essential Oil
The essential oil which is obtained from ginger is extremely beneficial in treating nausea. Fresh ginger has a very strong, pungent taste and this helps to combat the problem of nausea within a short span of time. In the case of ginger essential oil, the person is brought in contact with the strong vapours of this oil.

Peppermint Essential Oil
Peppermint essential oil is also excellent in its action on nausea. This oil must be diluted in some almond oil before it is put to use in the treatment of this problem. This diluted oil must be massaged into the abdominal area of the affected person.
Once the oil gets absorbed into the abdominal area, the process of digestion is regulated and the symptom of nausea slowly disappears. Peppermint oil is mild in its action on the body and so it can be used as often as necessary.
Spearmint Essential Oil
This essential oil is exceptionally beneficial in treating nausea which is associated with pregnancy or motion sickness. Spearmint helps to bring the symptom of nausea under control within a short span of time. This oil must be diluted before it is put to use.
The diluted oil can be massaged into the abdominal area of the person. It can also be sniffed from a handkerchief whenever the symptom of nausea manifests itself. This oil can be used by the patient on a regular basis till the symptom of nausea disappears completely. It is mild in its action on the human body.
