How Your Favorite Celebrities Maintain Those Great Bodies

How many times have you collapsed on the sofa after a strenuous workout, a lengthy jog or a day at the gym, only to feel that your efforts to trim down are getting you nothing but total exhaustion?

Have you ever wondered how your favorite celebrities, with their obviously busy schedules and hectic lifestyles, can keep those toned, trimmed bodies we all wish we had, and work so hard to get?

Well, here are just a few of the secrets for fitness that some of those Hollywood bodies employ, as revealed at Leeza Gibbons’ “Night to Make a Difference Oscar Viewing after Party”:

Former Spice Girl, Mel Brown (Scary Spice), English pop star turned actress revealed her secret -  household items used as light weights for a mixture of cardio exercises and light weight training around home.

Olivia Newton-John, four time Grammy Award winner, claims she walked the Great Wall of China in order to stay in shape last year and did it in the name of charity, raising money for a hospital.

Laila Ali, professional boxer and daughter of the legendary Muhammad Ali, claims that in order to weigh in she sometimes has to drop 10 lbs the week of a fight, which she states can’t be done. In order to do it, she says she often takes an unhealthy approach to lose water weight, taking water pills, getting in the sauna, not eating much and sweating it out. But she also states that she is sure to stay away from alcohol and T.V.

Canadian musician and star performer, Michael Buble, revealed no other conventional workouts for staying ripped other than playing his home country’s favorite sport of ice hockey.

Another famous musician, the American rocker Slash, lead guitarist of Guns N’ Roses and co-founder of Velvet Revolver, says that to stay in shape, he gets up in the morning. Always beautiful and talented Teri Hatcher, Desperate Housewife and one time Bond Girl, claims that she doesn’t even diet to keep her body looking great.

And these are just a few of the red carpet methods used by some of Hollywood’s best bodies to stay fit and trim.
