What is the one part of our body that we tend to neglect? It is none other than the neck. If you think your neck does not need the necessary care and attention, think again. Like other limbs, neck also needs care.

Without proper care, the skin of the neck can become dark and can also show the unwanted signs of aging.

To avoid having dark neck, make sure you clean it properly. That is one of the main reasons why the neck often looks dark. You can use a good scrub to get rid of all the dirt on the neck.

We all tend to make a common mistake of not applying facial mask or lotion on the neck. When you apply a facial mask or any lotion, make sure you apply it on the neck as well.

Often the colour of the neck does not match with the colour of the face. This is where some of the homemade natural skin care products come in handy. Make a paste with Turmeric Powder and some Lemon Juice. Apply that on the neck and keep it for 10 minutes. Then wash with water and see the change in colour in a few days.

We all know massage is good for health. Massage your neck before taking a shower. That will increase the blood circulation and at the same time help to get rid of the stress.

Try to avoid using pillow when you sleep. In case you cannot sleep without pillows, then use the lower ones. By doing so, the neck will not curl down and will have the space to stretch.

Do a bit of neck exercise everyday when you have the time. That will make the muscles of the neck more flexible.

Many have the habit of leaning on the table while working. That affects your neck. While working, sit straight and choose an angle that will allow you to keep your head straight.

While you are lifting heavy load, try to put the pressure on your legs instead of your back. That way your neck will not suffer the pressure.Last but not the least, keep your head straight and chin up. That is not just good for the neck, but also for your appearance as well.
