Learn The Basic Body Building Exercises

body-buildingDo you want a muscular and well toned body that everyone will envy?  In order to get your perfect body, you need to follow some of these basic bodybuilding exercises. The first step to shaping your body is to set a goal.  You need to figure out if you just want to exercise or if you want to become a fully-fledged body builder. 

Many people who want to reshape their bodies are resorting to some basic body building exercises for assistance.  Here are some exercise tips helpful for beginners.

1. You need to understand the basic ways to perform body building exercises.  Start with a low weight and perform many repetitions.  As you become more able to handle the weight, slowly increase it.

2. Rest less in between sets and exercises.  By doing this you will improve your ability to build muscle.

3. Once you have become experienced, focus on isolation exercises and do many repetitions.

4. Increase the resistance and hold the pose at the most strenuous moment.  For example, if you are doing leg extensions, when your legs are fully extended and you begin to lower them, lower them slowly.

5. Perform a section of the repetition at your weakest point.

6. Once you have completed your warm up, do strip-sets.  Do three sets of consecutive exercises while using the heaviest weight.  Do not rest in between the sets.

7. Mix your repetitions up by doing a full repetition followed with a half repetition.  If you are doing a lat pull down, your first rep should pull the weight all the way down to your chest.  The next rep will only pull it halfway down.

8. If you are looking to build muscle mass, increase the weight and lower the reps.  If you are more interested in toning your body, use lower weights and higher reps.

These are some basic body building exercises for you to follow.  Feel free to adapt them to your body type, goals and progress.  If you are a more experienced body builder, make the exercises more challenging.
