Men wearing makeup? This statement is enough to raise some well sculpted eyebrows in disbelief. The concept of men wearing makeup is usually not accepted open heartedly, though people forgot that their favorite cine star on screen is caked in layers of it! Why would a normal man wear makeup? Why can’t a common man use makeup to highlight their facial features or to conceal some shortages. Is that really so unacceptable?

When we see a model on a catwalk, his face looks just perfect, facial features seem bright and you don’t even consider that he is definitely wearing makeup. Even if you do know that, there’s absolutely no way you would consider him a weirdo because of simply being male and wearing makeup. But when it comes to the common man, then we don’t consider it normal. Men who are considering using makeup should know that your powder must blend perfectly on your face.

You have to make it look excessively natural, because most people wouldn’t accept a man wearing makeup. Practice applying makeup. Get help from your wife or girlfriend or go to some salon and ask help from professionals. Make sure to try at least a few brands and tones of powder to find the one that fits perfectly with your skin tone. Apply it very precisely so that there wouldn’t be any stretches or spots. Adding some powder on your neck will make sure there won’t be any disparity. Those who are using makeup to hide facial scars or acne don’t go overboard.

It is a matter of shame that when we proclaim ourselves to be so modern in our outlook, we still have reservations with something as simple as men makeup. If ladies can beautify and hide their flaws under makeup, then even men should get a chance. After all beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder!
