Monsoon Beauty And Makeup Tips

For monsoon, the very first tip is to wear the right kind of clothes which should not soak up too much water, and should dry up fast without getting de-shaped.  Say no to crisp, cool cotton, as well as the silks due to their tendency to get limp with soaking and lose the crease when dry.  For this season, crease-resisting synthetics like nylon and terylene are recommended. 

Rubber or plastic shoes will surely protect your feet from turning wet. Immediate removal of wet shoes is necessary when reaching home.  Washing them with soap and rinsing in clear water followed by drying up is also important.  Vigorously massage your feet for five minutes and then wear dry shoes. The massage can be done with glycerin at bed time.  This will protect your feet from skin abnormalities with enhance the softness and smoothness of your feet.

Monsoon is the seasons to avoid using any foundation as well as the face cream because when you go out in the rain it will leave streaks on your face.  Lipstick should be of deep and vibrant shade.  Blend it properly with the skin.  Brows should be emphasized with fine lines made with pencil and not a curved thick line.

Remember that the effect should result in a natural looking arch.  A light puff of powder should be used to finish your makeup.  Hair should be specially taken care of. Wet hair will invite many diseases just like wet feet.  A portable hair dryer is recommended for the monsoon.  In addition to drying your hair quickly and making you look good even on the wet day, it will also cut your doctor’s bill.

Use egg mask once a week.  The white of an egg should be mixed with one teaspoon of honey plus that of the lime juice.  This should be applied on your face.  Leave it on for one hour.  After that, wash your face with warm water to remove the egg mask, and then splash on cold water.  Use the yolk of the egg mixed with one teaspoon milk cream and few drops of rose water to apply on the face and neck. Leave it on and after 15 minutes wash it off.
