Protect Your Skin
The skin is the largest organ in your body. It protects your body from the environment such as ultra violet sun rays, it makes sure it keeps your body at a regular temperature and it provides senses like touch, pressure and so on.
Besides its many uses, skin can also represent a factor of beauty by today’s standards. There are many products designed specially to maintain its good look and condition; choosing what to apply should not be intimidating, we will go through some easy tips to make you more confident and well informed on the topic, in just some easy steps.
First thing to do, always clean your skin: This is one of the most important things to do, especially for the face. Going for the bar of soap is not enough though (and not healthy because it will make your skin very dry).
Men’s skin naturally has certain glands that keep it moist through the day; they can produce sebum in excess and make your skin feel very greasy. This excess oil should be washed away, not with soap, but with special gel. Take note that not all gels are created with equal values and of same type. Look for one that is made for your type of skin.
Exfoliate your skin, the second important thing: Do this if cleaning your skin is not enough and there is stuff remaining in your pores after doing it. Exfoliate your skin two or three times per week. It can be very helpful to oust filth that could not be touched by the cleaning process. It can also soften the hair, facilitating a shave that will not cause skin irritations.
The third and last thing, keep your skin moist: Skin can get very dry when using products like soap. Even in very humid areas, the skin can become very dry. Place a razor to your face while your skin is dry and you have the perfect combination for skin irritation.
This is why keeping your skin moist is very important. Use a good moisturizer with SPF to keep these problems away and at the same time protection of the skin from ultra violet sun rays – another factor that can cause certain problems to the skin.
