When you are buying processed foods, check the label to see what they contain, because these foods can have significant amounts of hidden sodium, which will increase your blood pressure.
In addition to exercising, you have to relax. Relaxing yourself naturally will help greatly in reducing blood pressure. Relaxing helps to reduce stress. Meditation, yoga, having a massage are various ways of relaxing. Such relaxation will reduce tension, which will, in turn, reduce blood pressure.
Eating a healthy and nutritious diet will also help to reduce your blood pressure. Eating healthy food means consuming lots of fresh vegetables and fruits, and foods that are rich in fiber.
Low dairy fat, proteins and whole grains are also healthy, and they should also form a part of the diet. Fish also helps to reduce blood pressure. Most importantly, consuming a lot of water helps to reduce and maintain blood pressure.
