Skin Care and Sun Protection
Frolicking in the sun on a beach is an experience worth enjoying. This is generally an experience devoid of worries about the skin and the consequences of exposure to the sun.
Some people think that when one gets a tan, it is a mark of beauty, but many studies now show that tanning is not good for the skin because it can sometimes lead to skin burning, wrinkles and skin cancer. Too much exposure to the sun can have many negative consequences that can affect the body, especially the skin.
It can produce reddened skin due to sunburn, wrinkles, blackheads and lip sores. All these contribute to feeling of discomfort, especially after tropical vacations.
The skin can be safely exposed to the sun for 20 minutes. This is used as a factor in the calculation of the frequency of applying sun protection by SPF number. If the sunscreen is SPF 15, multiply it by 20 minutes, so it means that it would protect your skin for 300 minutes or five hours.
Moisturizers, sunscreens or sun blocks can reduce these unwanted consequences, but one should make sure that all these protective applications are suitable for your type of skin. Wear UV-protected sunglasses and a hat that is broad enough to cover your face. Lipsticks and concealers can be equipped with SPF for protection; hence they can be used even when you are enjoying a daytime beach party.
For the eyes, waterproof and water resistant eyeliners can also be used to complete the makeup. SPF in lip-gloss can prevent dry lips from sunburn. Peeling of skin is usually seen as an aftermath of overexposure to the sun and to prevent this, use of Cocoa Butter is recommended, in addition to the use of deodorants. Appropriate beach wear and two towels, flat sneakers and beach blanket are necessary to enjoy your days under the sun, along an invitingly beautiful beach.
With all these tips for maintaining a beautiful skin amidst the radiant heat of the sun along the beach, you can now consider going to another vacation in the tropics, all ready to don the protection for a well prepared rollicking time under the sun.
