Skin Care Tips

vitamin-skinThe skin is the largest organ of the body is and it has layers, namely the Epidermis and the Dermis.   These layers are at the mercy of the suns rays and the natural oils of the skin need proper care to retain their oil producing glands in good health and their elasticity.

Proper Cleansing of the Skin

When cleansing the face you should use warm water and never hot water.  Use a dab of cleanser and rub into the skin of the face gently in a circular motion.  This will increase blood flow and unclog pores.

Any time you have used a cleaning product on the face be sure the water is not too cold and never too hot because this could break the capillaries of the skin.

Here are a Few Skin Care Tips

Using a sauna is a good idea but a layer of moisturizer needs to be applied first.

The refrigerator is a good place to keep your moisturizing cream, especially in very warm weather.

Cleaning your face when you come home from a hard day is not only beneficial for the skin of the face but very refreshing for you.

Toning your Skin

All types of skin need to be toned.  This is a process that you should perform directly after cleansing the skin, its purpose being to keep the skin refreshed.  Blood circulation is a major factor in healthy and youthful skin and toning after cleaning the skin will make it actually glow.

Cotton pads soaking in a bowl in the refrigerator and then dabbed quickly on the skin will cause the surface of the skin to be stimulated which helps the blood flow.

When applying tonic on the skin do so in large circular but gentle motions.  This is the best method for application.  Always be careful when using product round the eyes and nose.  The eye area is the most sensitive place on the skin and applying cream under the eye needs to be done very carefully and gently.  The fourth finger is the best application method.  Dab some tonic starting at the outside part of the eye and working inward patting as you go gently.
