Skin care tips
Who does not want healthy glowing skin? But in order to have that you need to take good care of your skin. You need to know what your skin type is because different types of skin need different types of care and treatment.
First of all identify the type of skin you have. There are basically five types of skin namely oily, dry, normal, combination and sensitive. They all require different types of treatments. Here are a few tips that will help you get healthy glowing skin.
Oily skin
Splash cold water at least 3-4 times a day on your face.
Drink 8-10 glasses of water. This will help to flush out the toxins.
Makeup often becomes patchy because of excess facial oil. To avoid this, apply some cucumber juice especially to the areas of the face that are too oily. Then apply your makeup.
Avoid oily, cheesy food.
To prevent too much oil on the face, add 5-6 drops of rose water in 4 tablespoon of ice water and apply that mixture on face. This will control the oiliness.
Dry skin
Eat food that has little oil or cheese.
To avoid dryness, use milk. Apply 1 tablespoon of milk and apply on your face before shower.
Apply 10-12 drops of coconut oil to your bath water or apply coconut oil to you skin and then take a bath.
Use moisturizer.
Do not wash dry skin with soap.
During winter, use a cold cream everyday. Do not miss it, as that will keep your skin soft and nourished during the winter.
Normal skin
Do not wash your face with soap.
Do not go for a tan. Exposure to sun will cause skin damage from wrinkle and even skin cancer.
Exfoliate once a week, which will remove the dead cells and keep the skin healthy.
Use a sunscreen when you go out.
Combination skin
Use a mild cleanser twice a day.
Use oil-absorbing makeup in more oily areas.
Avoid using soap.
Sensitive skin
Make sure you drink lots of water.
Avoid spicy food and caffeinated and alcoholic drinks.
Be careful about perfumes as they can cause allergic reaction.
