Spectra Laser Treatment For AcneWe always try to keep our skin in the best possible form. Skin is the largest organ in human’s body and this organ is the one which is exposed to harmful chemicals and harmful particles the most.

We have seen our ancestors who were naturally beautiful and they never tried skin care products or treatments to keep their skin beautiful. This is because; their skins were not exposed to so much of environmental pollutions and chemical treatments. But now-a-days we are living in a highly polluted and damaged environment.

Our skin is constantly exposed to the harmful pollutions and damaging harmful ultraviolet rays of the sun. Apart from that, there are thousands of beauty products available in the market, and we keep on experimenting with those products. This gives rise to many skin problems. And that is the reason why we ultimately rely on skin treatments like spectra laser treatment.

A spectra laser treatment is one of the best treatments to rejuvenate our skin. So, if you want to change the appearance of your skin, then you may consult a skin care specialist for this treatment. But before that, you should gather some information about this treatment, because it is always recommended that you look before you leap.

What Is A Spectra Laser Treatment?

A spectra laser treatment is a non ablative laser treatment, which is approved by both FDA and CE. A spectra laser treatment is very effective and beneficial for excessively oily skin because it helps to reduce the enlarged pores, and thereby prevents over-production of sebum. In this treatment a lotion is applied to the skin and then two modes of lasers are penetrated into the skin to remove and treat the problematic areas of the skin.

Uses Of Spectra Laser Treatment

Spectra laser treatment can be used for reducing enlarged pores, removing acne scars, removing moderate to severe acne, treating oily skin, removing pigmented lesions, for removing and developing the conditions of fine lines and wrinkles, for removing skin tattoos, treating Melasma and for treating post inflammatory hyper pigmentation.

Procedure Of Spectra Laser Treatment

This treatment is started by properly cleaning the area of the skin to be treated and then, a lotion containing carbon particles is applied thinly on the skin, 20 minutes prior to the treatment. After that, a spectra mode laser is penetrated into the dermis layer of skin which has photo-thermal effects.

This laser exfoliates the topmost layer of the skin. Then another laser in Q-switched mode is penetrated into the skin, which has photomechanical effects on the carbon particles. This laser explodes the carbon particles and exfoliates the top most layer of the skin.

This shrinks the pores and stops acne, removes pigmentation marks and wrinkles from the skin. In case of tattoo removal; the laser is targeted directly to the tattoo to break the pigment into small particles. This removes the tattoo without damaging the normal surrounding tissues.

Advantages Of Spectra Laser Treatment

The treatment is non ablative. It is not so painful. There are lesser risks of side effects. Recovery time period is very less.

Side-Effects Of Spectra Laser Treatment

This treatment may lead to burning, scaring, blistering and dryness of the skin. It may also cause hypo-pigmentation on darker skin tones; or may also lead to post-inflammatory hyper-pigmentation. You may also face allergy problems after this treatment.
