Subdued And Subtle Look For The Office

The first and most important thing for preparing the face for makeup is cleansing the face thoroughly with cleansing milk. Once the face is cleansed, you may apply a toner that will help to remove any surplus cleanser left on the face. This process is also very useful in shrinking the pores.

Another important thing is to massage the face with a good moisturizer prior to applying any makeup. This will give you a subdued and subtle look for the office.

Try to avoid applying a foundation as much as possible. On the other hand, if conditions such as not having a smooth complexion forces you to apply one, make sure you use it by adding a toner or water to it. This will give you a transparent look. But again, try not to apply a foundation and if you do, make sure to apply it in less quantity.

Next, you may apply some powder and use some color to highlight the cheeks. Later, you need to apply some powder on the apple area of the cheeks with the help of a powder blusher. Powder blusher is preferred over cream blusher as cream blushers give a dry look in the evening.

Moving on to makeup for the eyes, a liquid eye liner is very useful in defining the eyes. To give the finishing touch, you can apply a single coat of mascara. Lastly you need to apply a lipstick and after applying it, do not forget to blot it with tissue paper. This process is very helpful as it provides a natural look for the lips.

Always remember that whenever you apply makeup, make sure there is lot of natural light available in the room. You should avoid and never apply makeup in a closed room or space under the presence of artificial lights. Finally, always apply a good deodorant or a nice smelling body spray or floral perfume. This will help keep you fresh all through the day in the office. These useful tips will prepare you for a subdued and subtle look for the office.
