Summer Hair Tips
The summer heat can be harsh and unforgiving on everything and that includes our hair. There are a few remedies you can use on your hair that can beat the summer heat. Some may seem a little far fetched but a little strange can become very normal.
Smoothies are great for cooling us off and for sitting by the poolside. But, they are also great for our hair. Mixing together a banana, a tablespoon of honey and 200ml of milk, this combo will help to relieve split ends and brittle hair. Apply to your hair and leave on for 30 minutes, then rinse.
When we are having fun in the sun, we don’t stop to think that our scalps can get sunburned as well as our skin. By using hot water with a chamomile teabag and dollop of wheat germ oil, you can cool your scalp. Let the mixture cool off and apply to your scalp. It will help your skin to feel better and revive your hair. No need to rinse. This is a leave in fix.
When it is humid and hot outside, your hair can get frizzed and frazzled. For your evening sleeping, use a silk pillow case. The soft fabric will help to keep your hair from getting frizzy. You can also wrap your tresses in a silk scarf when you are sleeping at night. This will also help to keep the frizz at bay as well.
All of these are ways that you can keep your hair naturally beautiful and radiant all summer long. There are always ways you can beat the heat and the summer humidity. Don’t forget that your hair needs moisture just as your skin does. Drink plenty of water during the summer to help to have healthy hair and strong and your skin glowing all summer long.
By doing these helpful and easy tips, you will be able to keep your hair strong and beautiful day after day during the summer. So beat the heat and the summer humidity and you will be happy with the way your hair looks and feels.
