Surgery for Cellulite Treatment

Cellulite is a skin condition apparently more common in women. This occurs after puberty. In this case small dimple occur on the skin especially around the lower abdomen area. Men hardly have this problem.

Unfortunately the cause of this condition is yet to be found. But specialists believe that hormones are the main cause for cellulites. Many believe that estrogen is the main cause because it is one of the most important hormones in the body. However this hasn’t been proven yet. As a matter of fact other hormones such as Epinephrine, Insulin the other thyroid hormones play a role in the formation of cellulites.

Other than hormones, genetic factors are also involved here. This means this skin condition can run in the family.

There are many ways of getting rid of this problem. Lately more and more women are opting for surgery to get rid of cellulites. Many believe that it is the best solution. Unfortunately this has its own side effects and if you are planning to go for such a surgery then it is better that you know what the side effects are.

In some cases the skin can turn bumpy or rippled. This totally damages the appearance of the skin. Many doctors suggest that other surgery and treatment should be followed to cure the damages due to cellulites. This means more treatment and more spending of money.

If you have undergone the surgery then the best thing to do is massage the area regularly. You can massage the area with your hands or use a good massaging machine or apparatus. This will not only make the appearance of the skin soft, but at the same time prevent the cellulites from coming back. In this case you can use a lotion, but that is not necessary.

Now that you know that there are side effects to this surgery, so you cannot just walk into any doctor’s chamber and ask for help. If you are determined to undergo surgery, then make sure you choose your surgeon very carefully. Go to someone who has performed this surgery many times and is well reputed. This might cost you some extra bucks but it is worth it.
