The First Date Dress Bible
You finally worked up the nerve to ask her out and she said yes. Wow! Now that you have made the first step, you start to think about what comes next. Where are you going to take her and horribly, what are you going to wear. We may not think too often about what we put on our bodies but when it comes to the first date, we all of a sudden get panicky.
There are some ideas to take the stress off your dress and worry about the more important things such as where are you going to take her that will impress her. If you are taking her out to dinner at a nice place, wear a pair of dress pants that fit you well. A dress shirt that is white and grey pinstripe will never let you go wrong and throw on a pair of loafers. You will be dressed comfortably and just right.
If you have decided to take her on a movie date, then a comfortable pair of casual jeans will fit the bill. Wear a shirt that you are also comfortable in like one that has print on it. You don’t have too much worry of competition in the dark movie theater. To top it off, throw on a short-cut jacket to avoid getting cold in the theater.
Maybe your new girl likes to go clubbing. In that case, wear something that is semi-casual such as a comfy pair of jeans, a striped dress shirt and a blazer. If you are going someplace casual such as a pub, then go for a pair of jeans and a sweater that is comfortable with a little color.
With following some of these helpful tips, your first date should go as smooth as silk. You will be able to concentrate on where you are going to take her and worry about her having a good time instead of worrying about how your pants fit, if the shirt matches or if it is the right thing to wear. So, get out there and enjoy your date.
