The Perfect Jeans

Finding the perfect jeans can require a lot of trial and error. Our shapes and sizes change constantly with age, loosing weight or gaining it. Because of this, we are always on the look out for jeans that make our derriere look the best.

If your bottom is big then go for Hudson Jeans. You want to look for a slight boot cut or flared legs. It will balance out your bottom since it has the extra width below the knee. Chip & Pepper are excellent jeans for the flared legs and boot cut. The angled pockets help to slenderize. Other great jeans for those with a bigger bottom are Red Engine, Antik Denim, Blue Cult and Citizens of Humanity.

For those of us who have wide hips, look for jeans that are waist-high. Make sure they sit at or just above your natural waist. You don’t want to wear cargos or hip huggers. Great jeans for wide hips are Route 66, American Eagle Outfitters, Level 99, Banana Republic, Freedom of Choice and Raven Denim.

When trying to create the illusion of longer thinner thighs, wear straight leg jeans. You want them to be a little loose or wide-leg with a drawstring. Some excellent choices are Old Navy, MYNK, DKNY, Flower House, William Rast Belle Flap and Mavi.

Trying to find the waist you always wanted? Go for a higher rise jean since the extra fabric will hide your little pouch. They should come an inch or two below your belly button. Try Massimo from Target, Not Your Daughters Jeans, Lauren Jeans Co., Daisy Fuentes, Lee Jeans and J. Jill.

Wear a snug fit jean for skinny flatter legs. Levi’s, Earnest Sewn LC 94, True Religion, Vigoss from JCPenny, Miss Sixty and AG jeans. These are all awesome choices to make your legs look longer and flatter. No matter what your shape or concern, there is a pair of jeans that will flatter your butt, hips, waist and thighs. Do a little shopping and try on a few pairs. Then, go out in the town and show off your new figure.
