The Right Program for You
If you are new to the workout circuit then you probably have more than just a few questions. Things such as what type of workout program should you be on, what type of foods you should eat, etc. No one’s muscles are the same and will react differently to different exercises and machines. Test out machines to see which ones will work best for you and that you are most comfortable with.
Once you find a type of workout that suites you best, whether it is weight lifting, aerobics, step training or even Tai Bo, stick with it and don’t alter. You do however want to add variety to whatever type of program that you feel works best for you. It is important to be at peace with your choice.
After you have begun your routine, it is important to change it up once in a while. Your muscles will stop growing without change. Putting variety into your workout routine will prevent your muscles from hitting a wall and your routine from becoming stagnant. With variety comes new muscle growth which means a bigger you.
It is also important not to leave out any of the muscle groups from your daily workout. Just like going to the dentist, we don’t like it but go anyway. If you feel that you are lacking in one of the muscle groups then try putting that part of the routine first. By doing this, it will be out of the way and you can continue working out the parts that you enjoy. You can also try different machines or different weight routines to see if it makes that part of the workout any better.
Always remember to stick with the type of exercise that works best for you. Try out a few till you find your fit. Once you get it, stick with it and add variety to your daily routine every two months or so. Also remember to warm up and stretch before and after every workout. This will help to prevent injury and also keep your muscles working long after you have stopped.
