The Trick to Dieting
The trick to having your diet work is to stick with it. You can’t eat like a bird one week and than go back to your old eating habits the next, expecting to drop the pounds. If you follow a few simple rules than you can watch the pounds shed away.
You need to learn how to balance your protein, carbs and fat loss for every meal and snack. You should have a good mixture with all of your meals such as adding some almonds with your apple snack. When you eat carbs by themselves, your body digests them too quickly. If you add some fat and protein than you are less likely to get hungry sooner and you will feel fuller faster. This helps prevent you from making bad choices later because you felt starved.
You also have to remember to only eat what’s on your plate. When you have children it is really easy to eat what they don’t finish. This can add up in calories and mess up everything that you are working towards. Time management plays a role in this. Try taking something out in the morning for dinner that evening. This way when you get home from work you can put dinner in the oven and get comfortable.
Don’t snack while you are waiting for dinner. By doing this, you won’t eat enough in the evening meal and that will leave you wanting a midnight snack. Always remember to drink lots of water. This will help give you a full feeling and you won’t eat as much.
If you do feel the need to have a midnight snack, try eating a piece of fruit. Plums are an excellent snack since they have properties that will help to break down fatty deposits and help you loose weight.
Every time you look in the mirror just remember that you are on your way to a new beautiful you. Start planning a shopping trip to the mall for that gorgeous dress at your next dinner party. You will be the life of the party with your new figure.
