Tips On How To Curl Your Hair
Most women want to have curly hair at some time or the other in their life. It is an evergreen trend that is visually very appealing. People with straight hair can easily achieve this look at home. Nowadays, there are different gadgets and chemicals that can help you curl your hair as well. Here are two different methods to curl your hair.
Tips To Curl Your Hair
This is the most traditional and oldest type of curling technique. It is also a very good way to curl hair because it does not involve the use of any harsh artificial products. This means that your hair is not harmed in any way.First, choose the size of curler rings according to how large or small you want the curls to be. Then make sure you have enough fastening hair clips.
Wash your hair with a shampoo that suits your hair the best and apply conditioner (keep it on the hair for at least 5 minutes before washing off). Well-washed and conditioned hair holds curls much better and for a longer duration.Separate your hair into as many sections as you want and tie each part with a band or clip.

Take one section and place it flat against the curler before rolling both together towards your scalp. Make sure no strands of hair escape and you make a neat and tight roll. Slip on a hair clip to hold the curler in place. Repeat with each section of hair.Ideally, you should leave the curlers in your hair for at least a few hours.
Even leaving them overnight is a good idea. Wear a shower cap over the curls to keep them from unraveling. Finally, take out each curler very gently and run your fingers through your hair. If you wish, you can use a little hair spray to make the curls stay in shape for longer.
With a Curling Rod
This is an easier and less time-consuming method of curling hair. But be careful about doing this too often, as your hair can get damaged with the high heat of the curling rod.Plug in the rod and let it heat up before washing and conditioning your hair. It is very important to use a good hair serum or balsam gel on your hair before using the rod.

This will keep it from becoming too dry or brittle and at the same time, make it glossy and smooth. You have a choice of either towel-drying your hair or using an electric dryer. Do not dry it completely because the hair needs to have a little moisture in it to curl well.Divide your hair into sections that are of the required thickness and tie each part with a clip.
Then roll a section of hair around the curling rod tightly and hold for 10-15 seconds. Do not hold the rod for very long as it can cause the hair to burn. Repeat for each section.Finger-comb your hair and fluff it up a little. The advantage of curling your own hair is that you save so much time, effort and money by employing these simple at-home methods, rather than specially going to a beauty salon.
