Why the Body Ages
Aging is a natural process, and not an illness. Over the years the body shows signs of being more disease prone. Around the ages of 20 to 30, the cells of the body will stop dividing. The cells that are produced to replace the dividing process are also affected. Aging then happens when there are no more cells to replace the divided ones or the cells that have been damaged.
Once the division of cells stops to take place the shape of the cells changes. This is when those cells begin to release proteins that can do damage to tissues which increase the process of aging.
The aging process happens over a gradually over time and any preventative or restorative measures during the process will slow the ravages of time considerably. Not only are the cells themselves subject to damage, the physique of the individual contributes to an extended youthful appearance and health.
Nutritional problems that individuals over sixty years of age experience will add to the problems of aging cells. In advancing years bodies do not assimilate nutrients in the way they did at youth. The system of older individuals is slow, and so is the regeneration of the body cells.
