Fibro adenomas
This is a solid, round group of benign cells that are found near the surface of the breast. Due to the fact that they occur very close to the surface of the skin you can easily feel their presence when you touch them and this touch would also cause them to move. It is most common in the younger and middle aged women but not seen in post menopausal women. If needed it can be removed but one thing is that is does not cause any pain and for sure it is harmless.

Infection or inflammation
One kind of infection is mastitis which is basically a breast tissue inflammation and common symptoms are intense pain, swelling and redness. This infection mainly occurs in women who have just delivered and are breast feeding their babies. The bacteria usually enter the breast when there is an incision in the breast or through the exposed nipple. Usually this can cured by taking oral antibiotics and definitely there is nothing to be worried about.
Nipple discharge Usually there will some discharge from the nipple since breast is a gland. But this discharge is often wrongly seen as cancerous rather than benign. This condition is very common in women who take birth control pills or other sedatives. Usually doctors take a sample of the discharge to analyze and the recommended solution is to keep the nipple area clean. In case, it is found that the discharge is due to some infection then antibiotics need to be taken.
